Technical requirements

The Motion title image does not move or is not visible...
Adobe Flash Player 8 or later must be installed (free download from Adobe website)

If no pictures are visible under Creative despite Login...
In this case the user account is not activated for this area yet and has to register first. Or simply contact our Sales Team.

Does something change for APIS/i-picturemaxx users?
No, the relaunch relates only to the appearance of picture alliance. Research via APIS/i-picturemaxx remains unaltered.

Do the access data change?
No, all login data remain valid for the new and the previous portal version.

Does the old version remain accessible and how do I get there?
The previous version of the picture portal stays unalteredly accessible. (See technical requirements Browser)

Will the theme portals stay directly accessible?
Yes, URLs of the theme portals (e.g. www.olympia-bildportal.de) continue operating. All theme portals are directly accessible on www.picture-alliance.com.

Are there less pictures in the Editorial section?
No pictures were removed. The seperation in sections is a help for your workflow. Anyhow there will be lots of new pictures in the Creative section.

Did the search engine change?
The search engine was designed to be clearer. Section search includes masks convenient for the very section (e.g. model rights in Creative search)

Why do background colours change depending on where I'm searching?
Background colours (green for editorial, blue for creative, bright green for general view) facilitate navigation. Only pictures of the searched section are displayed.

You will need an up-to-date browser to use all functions of this application. Due to the Javascript library prototype, minimum technical requirements are:

Microsoft IE 6 or higher
Apple Safari 2 or higher
Opera 9.2.5 or higher
