One of the most impressive collection points in Europe for documentation in image form of cultural and historic motifs is the Archiv für Kunst und Geschichte (Archive for Art and History). akg-images has been collecting pictures and testimonies from art and history as well as from the areas of historic events, politics, everyday culture, ethnography and lifestyles for more than 50 years. All over the world.

The incredible fund of 10 million pictures is looked after by more than 70 highly qualified members of staff in Berlin, London and Paris; they are available via the picture alliance to advise and to carry out special research at any time.
